    A little good news...

According to a report I just heard on WWL radio (Garland Robinette) , Kevin Costner's centrifigal oil separating machines are doing a very good job. The three machines that are employed are picking up about 60,000 gals. per day.

More machines have been purchased but will not be in operation until August.

The worst idea was that dispersant. Caused more problems with oil/water clouds. The key I think was that the oil wouldn't be on the surface so no one could look at satellite imagery and know how much oil there is. So now skimmers can't get it, booms won't stop it.
