Knife Building Equipment

A local (Houma) knife builder is selling off his entire shop of equipment and supplies due to health reasons. He estimates its entire value to be approximately $5,000 and includes a heat treating furnace, band saw, belt grinder, buffer, etc. He's asking $3,000 for everything but will part it out if necessary.

If someone commits to buy the entire lot, he'll teach them the art of knife making at his shop.

I can provide a list of his equipment with individual pricing to anyone who's seriously interested. All equipment is less than a year old.

Equipment would have to be picked up, because of health reasons, and the extra expense, he's unable package for shipment.

All I can tell you sizewise is it has a 14.5" depth. It's a Paragon computer controlled furnace he'll sell for $800.00. I sure don't want to discourage a sale, but even if it accomodates AK receivers, you'd have to treat a bunch to make it worth your while.
