I have read it now and understand clearly.

Mary Landrieu is on the Senate Appropriations and Homeland Security committees.
That means Mary Landrieu can deliver those sheriffs as much federal sugar as they can stand.

My problem with it is that they had to go Florida to hold a Louisiana Sheriff's Association meeting. Why can't they spend their money in Louisiana?

The water at the Beach is much nicer in Florida !
