Lake Charles Gun Show at the Lake Charles Civic Center November 12-13, 2011. Saturday 9-5 and Sunday 9-4 Admission $7 and kids under 12 get in free. 200 tables of guns, ammo, accessories, knives, coins, jewelry, surplus, martial arts, and much more! Tables are $55 and when you buy 4 tables we throw in an extra one! This show sells out months in advance. Nope,never going again.La gun shows suck!!!!!

All the dealers are from some where else farrr far awayyyy...

I always get delayed.I always get it,but delayed.Always.
If I wanted to buy from a dealer Id just go down to my local shop
and get it as I normally do.Why give money to other FFL dealers
from Farrr farrrr awayyyy...

ANd the food sucks..Port Arthur is da shizzy.BBQ and all kinds of food.

More guns than any show i have ever been too.They sold well over 400
guns the day I went and they said it was slow lol...A lot of individual
sales also.no individual sales at all in La that I have seen ,and I been to
lafy ,,alex,,LC..many times.

Getting a delay has nothing to do with the dealer or where he is from...............but then you probably already knew that.

Anyone else go to this show? I was there Saturday, did not buy anything, lots of people, not many buying, mostly dealers with new guns or selling collectable / antique guns. I was a bit surprised by the gaps in the gun selection, for example very few AR/AK's , I think there were maybe a dozen AR's at the show, only 2 Norinco AK's and I only saw 1 SKS.

I used to go to just about every time they had the LC gun show. I have not been at all in the last two years. It has turned into a gun dealer's meet. Very little used guns, few good deals. For the most part it just a bunch of dealers in one room with prices all within 5% of each other. I used to buy from a guy from the Slidell area that would be setup to the right when you walked in. He always had a lot of used stuff at good prices. I have 5 guns in my safe from him. Other than him, most had the same prices that they would have if you walked into their store, so no point in paying the admission fee.
