A few years ago, Louisiana Sportsman ran an article where they printed the "average" price per acre of hunting leases in Louisiana. It was broken down into something like 9 regions. Does anyone have any idea what land should go for in the West Baton Rouge, Iberville Parish area? I have an inside on possibly 600 acres or so that I may be able to lease and I want to give them a fair price but not get ripped off in the process.

In wbr, it starts about $10 an acre, maybe less if only boat accessable. IN Iberville, in the basin where if floods or only boat accessable, $5-$7 acre, up to $10. High ground, starts at $10.

Call Wilbert Lumber/timber and aske what they get, they kind of set the prices.
