I can't blame the guy if the police won't respond. Glad they got it resolved (though it would have been entertaining to watch on video somebody's raised Olds get blasted with a bazooka! that would have gone viral!).

Seriously, he needs a couple of yard dogs and some security cameras. Cursing out the cops is only going to make matters worse, but the cops need to understand he's frustrated and venting. I'm sure its not the first time they've been cursed out.

Announcing you are going to use "lethal force" on television is not smart. Wait and use it when the time is right. Word will get out quickly for crooks to avoid that property. But STFU by all means.

Not reported is how long this has been going on. I can understand the officers not wanting to have listen to someone berating them for not solving the problem but, they still should respond. I imagine that they are cursed at by law offenders all the time and still do their job.
I hope the business owner doesn't proceed to taking the law into his own hands and wind up arrested for killing a thief or something like that.
I sometimes wonder if times have actually changed to protect the law breaker more than the everyday Joe trying to make an honest living.
I would be as frustrated as Mr. Bennett in his shoes.
