Can we make it a rule that if you post in the classfieds section, you have to have a "General Location" in your profile? North LA, Southeast LA, Northwest LA, yadda yadda yadda........

This is a great idea but unfortunately I think it's not really possible to properly enforce. I'll think about a resolution and take care of something tomorrow. 
Just add it to the rules, and we will take turns reminding people when they post new adds. I'll help!

I made a post a while back requesting everyone update the location in their profile but I added it to the rules just now.

yup yup. Easier to just put it in their profile so they don't forget. I understand some people not wanting their exact location known when posting on a gun board, but a roundabout location in their profile isn't asking too much.
