Location to shoot on Mardi Gras day.

Is there an area to safely shoot on the Northshore/Covington area? I want to take my older son shooting after the Mardi Gras parade Tuesday in Covington. I know the HI range isn't open, so is there an area that people go to when the range isn't open?

Yes there will be but it will be more like a 3 gun match......You know runnin and gunnin instead of just standing there like at honey island.

If you're in NOLA on one of the parade routes, you may get to do a little shooting there...
