    Run for the hills!!!!!

They are getting ready for a Border checkpoint!

They are gonna block the causeway at the south shore and then also at the I-10/I-610 split!

Not sure if it was this or not but a JP reserve chief's young daughter was killed in an ATV accident over the weekend. I only know this because I was talking to a friend who was headed to the funeral this afternoon.

It was indeed this, one of our traffic officers (we only have two specific motor officers and one was in court on a nearly 7 year old homicide case) went to assist with the escort.

I really hate to hear that a young person lost their life. Regardless of all else, there is so much left to see in this world. Reminds us all just how quickly our number can be called whether or not you are prepared....May God rest her young soul...

It was still funny-- just ill timed. So probably good advice to yourself there.

Very sad. Glad there is a lot of support for the family within the LEO community, and that long line of official vehicles had to have been pretty moving.

It was pretty neat to see them all go by. at first i thought it was all JP, but then I saw all of the other departments mixed in.
