Got my son his lifetime licenses last year. I don't remember it being green, but then again, I think I only looked at it once when we received it. I'll have to check when I get home.

Haha! Looks like mine except hunters education card still has some of its orange all the print is gone. Oh and it's in 3 pieces held together with clear tape. But hey, it's original!

Yes, it shows as an add on.

When you renew your drivers license, they are supposed ask if you would like the lifetime hunting and/or fishing license endorsement to your drivers license. I'm not sure if there any additional forms you have I provide, but I do know that you have to have your lifetime license with you to do it.

This went into effect Aug 1, 2013. You can also add hunter ed and boater safety endorsements.

That is really good to know. Thanks.

Bowhunter ed is not required for state lands or private lands. It is required for federal lands in Louisiana. I don't know about other states.
Here I am beyond the cutoff birthdate to be required to have hunter's ed but needed it when I went pheasant hunting in Kansas many years ago.

Lifetime licenses are a great deal. They are only $200 for both hunting and fishing if you get them before your kids turn 5. My kids don't appreciate them yet, but they each have one.
