Well, I finally put a red dot on my Ruger. Practicality won out over my pureist idealism. It does makes shooting much easier on the eyes.

As I age parts of me aren't what they used to be. Red dot for the eyes. Maybe a volquartsen trigger and Hogue grips to assist the hands.
