i know someone with an m90 front end, heavy barrel .223. He wants to build it with advice from me but I can't advise because I don't have enough knowledge or experience.
I think the M90 is built on a 1.2mm receiver. He has a short section of a 1.2mm receiver chopped close to the front trunion and he wants to weld that section to a 1mm receiver. Will that work?

He needs to just demill the front rivets and put it on a new receiver

The old piece of receiver is removed from the front trunnion. I advised him to purchase a nodak or any receiver but he doesn't want to do that. I guess he can't be advised. There ain't much to what he has as far as a kit. Front trunnion, barrel, bolt, op rod, gas tube with adjuster, op spring, sight, hand guards, front sight, and flash hider, basically a front end. I don't think he gave much for it and he wants to put nothing into it.
Would he need receiver and parts from an Yugo M70?

I told him to sell it and buy something else but he can't be advised. I think I will leave it alone. Thanks
