How do you store and keep your extra uncommon mags (less than 5) organized? I’m using 50cal cans. It holds alot of mags but I find myself digging through cans with 10 different kinds of mags trying to remember whats in each can and what goes to what.
How are y’all storing and organizing your extra mags?

I got a couple of those hang-over-the-door, clear plastic shoe organizers with several shoe slots.
Put adhesive-backed velcro sections on the sides and bottom to keep them from swinging out when the door opens.
Easy to access, see what you have and how many.

I have a mtm ammo crate (various heights, same footprint) that stack. One for glock mags, one for pistol mags (other than glock) one for 308 ar mags, etc. In the glock box and pistol box I use gallon size freezer bags to separate the various size and brands mags. Just write on the bag with a sharpie. Works for me.

I like the over the door clear shoe organizer idea. May have to do that.

I put them all in a pelican case with the Velcro dividers. All uncommon mags are in one place and easily identifiable.

I label my ammo cans with stickers from Amazon and use my notes in my phone to identify exactly what’s in each ammo can. A piece of tape also works just fine, I just prefer keeping everything looking the same and with the same style labeling.

I do the same thing for ammo, gun parts, you name it. Very easy and effective method of keeping everything stored and knowing exactly what’s what. I don’t know how people store guns and ammo without using some sort of similar method.
