Mep 003a . How loud are these when they have the housing for sound attenuation?

The one we have at the camp is pretty noisy. Its not the exhaust that makes noise. The engine is just loud if that makes sense. But for 300 bucks its kinda bearable.

yes its a 03a. Bought it from a memebr of the camp. Had a few electrical problems that we had to fix. anyway, yes mine is freaking noisy

real loud. lol. and they do have some home brew and military enclosures for them. i should have some pdf's for maintenance, and i know DERF on the whale has bought and sold quite a few. he may actually have one and you can hear it. they are louder than cheap-o civilian ones but tolerable. if its a gas military one i wouldnt take one for free. matter of fact i gave mine away. they burn 2.5 gallons AN HOUR

Yep, but I am just the kinda guy that feels bad when I ask to hear it run, its too loud or something lame and I walk away..
