Military Discount

Called HQ a couple weeks ago and was told not to submit my renewal on line with the military discount cause the website was not accepting the discount yet. Told to try back in a few weeks. Anybody submitted on line with the discount yet?

I submitted in person, on 9/5.. using the new military discount. Having not heard anything as of 10/3 I called to check and was told that the system is still being programed to handle the new discount, and all military discount submissions are being pushed to the back. When asked I was told that they hope to be processing those in 1-2 weeks. But could make no promises.

Not the best of news, but it's all I have.

Yeah Thanks. I submitted mine in person also on 9/27 and was told same as you. Said when the system was fixed to accept the military discount, those applications would be priority.

Not knowing about the change, I submitted a renewal packet about ten weeks ago. Contacted them last week thinking my packet got lost and was told they at holding all "military" packets waiting on the contractor to change their software to allow for the discount. It's supposed to be fixed any day. In the interim, I'm without a current permit.

The military discount is now available online. The website still say, as a note that it doesn't, but if you continue the app it will apply the discount anyway.

System is up and running. Got mine Thursday afternoon in the mail.
