I've been wanting one for a while, I'd still like to get a 5" full lug model 629 to add to the collection.

Congrats on obtaining a classic! I have a S&W Model 19-3, nickle plated, six inch barrel, target hammer, target trigger. What sweet shooter the old Smiths are. They may have been taken for granted back in the day. It's good to see such quality of design and workmanship appreciated today.

Thanks guys! I love the classic look, I had bought a 6" 586 about 6 months ago and it shot so great that I immediately started wanting a 29.

Now get you a 629 to go along with the 29.

    Or two...

Oh man, time to get out my butt kicking shoes and kick myself again. I let go an 8" SS Colt Anaconda and to this day I regret it. As Barbarossa said, my favorite caliber to shoot. Still have some ammo lying around somewhere.
