I havent owned an M&P, but always knew I would add one to my collection at some point. I'm a big fan of the guys over at ATEI and when this ATEI M&P 1.0 came up I grabbed it. Admittedly, the ergonomics arent great on the M&P, but I shoot it much more accurately then all my Glocks (that I'm in the process of clearing out). I'm a 320 X series fan boy, but the M&P is here to stay as well. I've been spoiled with the ergonomics of the X-series 320 admittedly. ATEI did a remarkable trigger job on this thing and I think it blows away any APEX that I've ever felt. The top and front slide serrations make my one hand and press check manipulations a breeze. Too bad mags for these things are so expensive though. I know the trigger on the 2.0's are lots better than the 1.0, but after this trigger job I dont think a 2.0 is on my radar. I'm a happy camper here. Here are some pics.

I have a 1.0 and 2.0 M&P and love them both triggers could be better but need more time on the 2.0 to really get a feel for it although I am waiting for the new flat trigger to get in-stock and then will probably gift my grandson the older 1.0. I did buy a Performance Center optic cut ported slide and barrel which will fit either the 1.0 or 2.0 frames.

Nice looking M&P, sir! Also, you’re the only person I’ve ever heard say something negative about the ergonomics of the M&P series. But to each his own! Enjoy that Smith & Wesson. I have full confidence she will treat you well.

I love my M&P's, that said I have several in 9mm, .40, and .45. I fit a new barrel to my CORE 2.0 and it is more accurate than my Ed Brown M&P at 1/3 the price.
