Old school Windham built bushmaster are good to go.. they were pick of the litter back in the day before the ownership transfer and separation… in fact there wasn’t but a handful of company’s back then that sold ar’s lolI’ve got an original Bushmaster that hasn’t failed me in about 20 years.
Now we are getting somewhere lol.Aren't most AR15 receivers forged at only two or three places regardless of brand? I remember reading that somewhere. If so the only difference is the internal components.
Well that took an interesting turn lol. He is looking for the best accurate gun no matter the name or price lol. I was asking what gun would actually be war worthy. Givin our current climate, what would the normal guy prefer to own that could last the longest of an invasion of America? Knowing that factories would be shut down and parts would be scarce, what would be the best option? And the other thing would be great if Craigslist shutdown because nobody wants to find themselves stuck in a tranny train. In this war your friend will be in. What's the terrain? What's his role? Will he have others with him? What will they be using? Is he backpacking it or buckled in protecting his base? Will he be in a frog suit and under water for any amount of time? Sniper? CQB?
He will probably need more then one AR. Because I'm sure he will be training for this war.. Id say that's any easy 10k of ammo used per year. So probably need to keep stock of extra parts.
Unless you mean prepare for war in that he will be sitting on his couch drinking a beer and mad because all he can find on Craigslist are transgender and gay men.
Now that you mention it I think I got my Bushmaster around ‘02-‘03I’ve got an original Bushmaster that hasn’t failed me in about 20 years.
And AR-15 is a poor choice if war broke out in the USA. It was made for field troops to return to base and be tended to by an Armorer. It is a gun that has to be cleaned a lot. Maybe the piston driven AR-15s are better but I do not have any experience with them. I do know that a piston driven or roller delay firearms are much cleaner after shooting hundreds of rounds than a gas impingement AR-15.Well that took an interesting turn lol. Took two pages to wade through the soy boys and find someone who knows anything. COLT is the name in AR15 rifles. The problem is, peeps today want their AR to look like an exotic sports car. Not sure how many FerARri’s actually make it into real service.Colt, BCM, Daniel Defense. There are a few others but those come to mind for quality and cost.
That’s what I’m talking about!!! I’m with you on that one. I’m glad I have a SilencerCo Hybrid 46m for that. Might not be the quickest on some guns, but it fits everything I own for sure!War breaks out my plan is to hit the woods and hopefully never have to take a shot, unless it’s for food and save the suppressed subsonics for that lol.. many will walk by and never know I’m there
Well thanks for the nightmares lol. That would be fun to watch for sure! Those evil black guns are too dangerous and scary for me to even look at.
I'ma going to stick with plan A here at the house by gut hooking cotton mouths and hanging these at face level on the front and back pathways leading in.
Know how mad a cotton mouth gets after a few days hanging in a tree? He will hit anything walking past.
Probably the screams of the ones being struck in the face will be enough warning?
