Take a micro connector off a circuit board without crushing the connector like regular needlenose pliers pliers!

Split ring pliers. My wife has several pair that she uses for jewery making and I keep a pair in my tackle box for changing out treble hooks on lures.

Have you thought about a plastic fuse puller?
Works great for removing IC's from DIP sockets.
if both of the tips were like the one on top and more to a point this would be them
if they didnt have a part to strip the insulation and the edge came more to a point
i have some micro connector pliers and they dont work as good as the ones above for my application.If you GOOGLE micro connector pliers , they don't look like those . There is such a thing .
