That could pose a problem for Grammarians. I mean, if you call it Bob, and it is a "pair" of pliers, wouldn't that be a tad confusing? That would be like calling a pair of Siamese twins, "thing" or "monster". Wouldn't it? I suppose you could refer to it as a pair or set of Bob. Or, hand me that pair or set of Bob. And what makes pliers plural in the first place? It's a single device!?!

And what if someone was an uppity snobbish type, and referred to them only as a "Robert"?

Split ring pliers. My wife has several pair that she uses for jewery making and I keep a pair in my tackle box for changing out treble hooks on lures.

Sawgrass, what kind? I'm flying to Wisconsin for the Bead&Button show tomorrow for a three day workshop in lamp work glass and two days in metal smithing classes. I used to bead but now I prefer raw materials and metal design with metal clay and enamels. I'm pushing out to include glass and sheet metal next week.

Have you thought about a plastic fuse puller?

Works great for removing IC's from DIP sockets.

They dont open far enough. the ones pictured work great to pull out fuses too. they are just some great all around pliers.

i have some micro connector pliers and they dont work as good as the ones above for my application.

im going to have to order a pair at work to make sure they are correct and then about 10 more pairs. the engineers where i work really like these.
