New ar15 accessory question

So I'm looking to put a quad rail on my palmetto state ar15. Is utg a worthwhile cheap option to mount accessories to? or just a waste of money? I was looking at a Troy and Midwest industries quad rail but they are so damn expensive. Any help would be appreciated or if anyone has an extra in the Baton Rouge area they would be willing to sell let me know.

When you spend more money you're getting better/lighter material that will hold up to rough handling better but I don't plan on bringing my rifle to a desert to clear buildings. It's to shoot holes in paper and the $40 handguard works just fine for my needs.

My opinion is this, if you go cheap you will probably regret it. I went cheap and the damn thing was just uncomfortable. It was painful to hold on to and I just don't think the quality standards are that good. Certainly the fit and finish will vary between the cheap ones so maybe the one I had was unusually rough around the edges. What do you plan on mounting on it?
