We've been working on a project here at Freedom Gunworks to come up with a solution for an alternate top end Limited and Open gun and the "Freedom" is our answer. With this package, the owner will have both an Open and Limited gun for USPSA or Steel Challenge.

While researching slide mounted optics, we were led to the Leupold Delta Point because of it's quality, reliability, and lifetime warranty. The Delta Point was torture tested with 10,000 rounds of 10mm, 1,000 rounds of 454 Casull, and 1,000 of .500S&W and survived. We believe it to be the most durable micro red dot sight available today and we will not offer this gun with any other sight.

What the Freedom package offers the customer is the ability to go from Limited to Open just by pulling the slide stop, swapping top ends, and reinserting the slide stop. It's that easy! There is no loss of zero like you would experience by removing and reinstalling frame mounted optics. This package would allow a Steel Challenge competitor to shoot Open and Metallic sight division with the same gun and a 22LR top end could also be fitted for Rimfire division. In USPSA, you could shoot Open one weekend then Limited the next without having to purchase an additional gun. The cost of the complete package is $4,750.00 which does not include magazines. It's available in 9mm, .38Super, .38SuperComp, and .40S&W. Limited top ends are available in 5" and 6" configurations.

Additionally, the location of the dot is right where your iron sights would be so it is an easy transition from Limited to Open. No more "searching for the dot". On a side note, if you've ever ridden in a boat in the ocean you'll know the most comfortable seat in the boat is in the back where there is the least amount of movement. The back of the boat stays in the water while everything forward bounces up and down. Same concept in the 2011, the dot never leaves the lens in this gun, it just wiggles when it's fired!

Super cool! Very good idea and well executed, can't wait to see it in person.
