It adds a shoulder stock for increased accuracy and better weapons handling. Its the difference between say an AK pistol and a Krink type weapon.

Ak pistol shoots a rifle round. This shoots a pistol round. No even in the same league in my opinion. Since most social encounters take place at very close range and shooting someone far away makes it tough to prove self defense, I think I'll just stick with a common everyday handgun. I'll leave this stuff to James Bond and movie heros.

You're right about pistol vs rifle round but that wasn't the point. Remove AK example and add in MP5 pistol/smg. I agree a "regular" pistol would be better for concealed carry, I was just stating the difference between the FMG and a pistol.
