Haven't hunted since the mid 80's but always enjoyed shooting. Have a couple of step sons and would like to get them into target shooting with the .22's Wish we had some outdoor ranges close by. Nick's is close but always packed on the weekends.

I'm always envious of those who have Second Amendment Rights. Though we can also hunt and shoot as some of you are, we still don't have the same rights as you have there in the States. Gun ownership to us here are just mere privilege that our government can take away at their whim. Anyway, looking at the brighter side, we can still go to shooting ranges and hunt occasionally in fields should our government woke up in the right side of bed and become lenient in giving away permits to us gun owners on this side of the planet.

Welcome to the site. For a range you may want to consider joining Palo Alto in Donaldsonville. It takes me about 25 minutes from my house off hwy 73 to get to the range. It is a private club, and is never crowded unless you go on a Saturday when there is a match.
