New/old Member Intro

I've been on and off the forum for several years. I live in Shreveport and am retired from the Army/Army Reserve after a touch over 40 years service. I shoot rifle, pistol and shotgun with recent interest in long rang rifle shooting. Currently using a Remington 700 Varmint in .308 Win that was rechambered to shorten a ridiculously long throat. It's topped with a Leupold Vx6 4x24. Pistols include a Clark custom Colt Series 70 .45; an old Ruger Security Six .357, and a handful of 9mms.
