New Orleans Gun Buyback

I just saw on the news tonight (10-8-08) that there will be a Greater New Orleans Gun Buyback. 50 for handguns and 75 for rifles.
I would like to know when and where this will take place. If anyone hears anything about this event please post.
Also, has anyone actually gone to one of these to look for the "widow with an M1"? (that's my goal).

I wonder how many people scout these things, lol. I mean why would someone in their right mind go to one of these to drop off a possible $500 plus gun? Bring those jokers to a pawn shop or something.

BSC should setup a tent out front offering $10 over spot, lol.

I got a piece of crap revolver that I got for $20. It came with a nice little holster too. The guy was supposed to pick it back up on friday when we got paid but never did. I did not realize until later it had what looked like a home made firing pin in it. The hammer was the flat type. Wonder if I could get the $50 for it. I'd be making out like a bandit.

Naw Quas they'd be after yor but,,, they said they did not want him bringing them damn toy guns in there anymore.. Said nothing smaller than a .22....they want to see real guns like they got......
