I live in a snaky environment too.......I use some from Magellan 18 ' sidezip and water proof

BUT I seldom wear them, I just use leather work boots in the yard

Last summer I got hit by a copperhead on the wolverine with no boot damage

The 8 or 9 in hi work boots ain't so good where you are in uneven ground or in brush where they might have the elevation advantage, also remember snake 101, the longer the higher

We killed over 100 the first spring and summer here, been here 3 yrs now, kept pressure on with dawgs and shoot on site, they are very few now

We live in a three acre clearing in deep woods, somehow they got the message and stay away for the most. altho last Sat I picked up a joint of 4 " pvc and dropped a mad moc on my feet ( in flip flops )

He died......... I crapped and thats another rezon why I always carry at home

    Good luk

    Get lots of Dawgs
