The way the law reads, all semi-automatic firearms would be banned.
Any firearm that can be converted to full auto by any modification method.
Of course, there's an exemption for law enforcement.
Not likely to see NYPD carrying Model 10's again.

So could just about every striker fired pistol. I’m not surprised seeing NY try something like this. They are as bad if not worst than California.

I wonder if our Leo friends here would be cool with this law since it would make the job so much less scary for them. I wonder how many would roll with it and say “I’m just doing my job” I bet a good handful here would without thinking twice about it.
