Next Purchase?

Ok well with the upcomming election, I've decided to try and purchace a new gun soon. I've narrowed it down to another ak-47 (had one but it was stolen), a new ruger mark III hunter .22 (had one that was stolen), or a remington 870 to build a defense shotgun, or a conceled carry piece. (I have a xd .45 service, and a couple of shotguns my dad gave me along with a .270 and a couple of .22 rifles) I'm just curious what y'all think?

If you're concerned with the upcoming election, I'd say go with whatever you think would be banned. So I'd rank that in order of 1) AK, 2) Defense Shotgun 3) Concealed Carry Pistol 4) .22 Pistol

well to be honest, I'm just using the election as an excuse, but what it really comes down to is, should my next gun be for fun (the .22 pistol) or should I get a more serious weapon? that's where the election part comes in... because I do love ak's too, and let's face it, it is a very good possiblility that things like ak's or even defense shotguns might no longer be an option. On the other hand, I know I would shoot the .22 more than the ak for monetary reasons. (I'm a broke college student)

Ok, so I found out that I have to pay for a class (an internship) this summer, so a new gun is def. out the picture. But, I want to get my CCL does anyone know a good place/ or some info about the process... I live in lafayette but I have a friend that wants to get one too baton rouge so anywhere in either city would be good... thanks again to everyone.

I agree with, looking at what could possibly be banned. Hi-Cap. Clips for berretas & glocks. If you have those they will be worth a fortune if they are ever banned again. Gunshows are the best things since slice bread.
