I was lying in bed with my beautiful wife when the phone rang. It was my boss and we spent the next hour self soothing each other over a situation that has been existent for many years, blatantly ignoring my fantastic bed partner who was patiently waiting. I was a bad, bad spouse and agree that I should do the dishes (not like last time!!!!) for the rest of the month.

I realize my amazing love is understandably frustrated and if I had listened to her years ago, we would have solved this WEEKLY issue months ago.

The bad thing was, I was sitting right there beside him. I picked up his tablet, surfed all over his Facebook account. Checked out his email. Generally making a big nuisance of myself. He never focused on to what I was doing. Boredom set in after 45 minutes.

I literally did it under his nose. The problem is one guy who does things his way, regardless who tells him otherwise. It's been on-going for 13 years so my patience over the hen fest was slim to none.

I'm a brat.
