There is something many don't think about in relation to a new AWB. Obama can, without congress, ban any importation of anything he wants to and I bet he will. How much do you want to bet that he can expand on the current import bans to include any firearm useing similar reciever, and ban import of parts for mil. style recievers. That would mean no more AK parts kits, no more sporterized variants of AKs coming in. In fact I bet he can and will ban import of ALL semi-auto weapons. And there is nothing we could do to fight it. He could also ban importation of ammo. that would really make shooting and stocking up expensive. He can do all this without congress.
