Has anyone heard that 2 LEO's where shot in Laplace last night?
My niece got a news flash on her phone last night about 2 officers being shot/ambushed.
Hope it's not true.

Some people have been reposting about the incident that happened in 2012 on Facebook. It seems to be causing some confusion.

I saw that too. The CNN story showed up on my FB newsfeed as if it were a current story, and there wasn't a date to be found. There was another story a few days ago about an officer involved shooting from 2007 (IIRC) in Alabama. Again the date wasn't obvious.

I'm questioning the motivation....
