Has anyone had a chance to try this yet? It's Old Kettle Cocktail Syrup. Canatta's in Morgan City and Houma carry it on the shelf. It makes a crazy good Old Kettle according to the recipe on the bottle !!! Very similar to the Old Fashioned, but using this in the place of simple syrup or sugar and High Rye Bourbon or Straight Rye Whiskey. I made it with Knob Creek Straight Rye and I've had it with Basil Hayden Dark Rye. My wife and I put it on grilled biscuits, french toast, pancakes, waffles, butter toasted French bread, and I've used it cut 50/50 with water to spray baste a few pork roasts on the Memphis Grill.
