    I love my DSA STG58
Yes, they are one of my favorites as well NN! NOT so much the DSA models but the STG version it self! The Austrian's had their stuff together, this is where DSA got their start from and the rifle and blueprints they used to start their manufacturing process on their receivers and barrels! The STEYR barrels are the BEST of the BEST! Thus also harder and harder to come by a true steyr barrel!!

Only 6 people here that actually owns a working FAL, this is somewhat surprising! I thought there would be more! You guys that haven't vote, please get your votes in! And to those that do NOT own a FAL rifle, GET ONE! YOU do NOT know what you are missing! Yes the "POODLE SHOOTERS" (AR's) are fun and the "BABY 308" (AK"s) are also fun,BUT.... YOU have got to run thru a couple mags of the FAL rifles! THEY ARE AWESOME! ONE range session and you are hooked!!

I have never fired a FAL personally, but I see so much about them on BS. Are they really as great as you say?

Well do some info. recon and see what you find. If you like what you find and are interested in this type rifle let me know. We can hook up and I will let you run a few mags out of mine.

Go to ANY web browser and try a search for FAL rifles. Now these rifles are NOT nor were they ever intended for long ranger sniper style rifles. BUT if your intentions are to kill zombies within 600 yards with a semi-auto battle rifle and have a hell of a time doing so.......well I would highly recommend you try out a FAL! Again do some research.

DISCLAIMER: Hell NO I have NEVER SHOT mine at 600 yrds. hell I can't even see 600 yards! My rifle shoots pretty good 1.5" to 2" groups at 100yrds. and I can pull off some pretty good MOM shots at 200 without a problem, again I am NO "MARKSMAN" like a lot of folks claim to be but I can hit your butt if you stand out to 200 with my ironsights all day long. So again this is NOT a sniper type tack driver.

DISCLAIMER II. I hear they are very highly addictive! USE CAUTION! :mamoru: LIke I said this is what I hear!:D

10 Owners and counting..... we are getting on up there for such a small forum and FAL's not being heavily popular in this area!
I am sure we have more that are probably out of town or just haven't voted yet.

I WOULD like to see MORE in the FAL's PIC thread!! Don't be shy guys, show us some FAL PORN!

This also gives the guys that are just planning on stepping into the FAL realm of things as far as different ideas and options!
I see there are quite a few with kits, I know some are certainly the Argy kits but some may have some other kits as well! HINT HINT..... jdindadell ;) Kit pics are cool too!

This could also be due to the THREAD TITLE:

How many FAL OWNERS are on BS.com
Richard, that option would probaly be found in the AR threads! ;) You may want to check there........

I'm not tryin to stir anything up, Just was throwing that out there as Technically I would fit in the "own less than 5 FAL's", and would skew your statistics ;)

FAL's seem to be the new P7

Gotcha buddy, no harm no FAL..... ;)

Technically I would fall into the "too bad of the boating accident", and dreaming of a FAL...... thus the reason I only started the poll and have NOT voted :(

Well it looks good locally for FAL owners. Once we get some Argy kits completed maybe we could get a gang of us together and make a range trip! Maybe some of you YANKIEE guys up around POLLOCK and points north could plan a trip down!
It would be cool to start an annual BAYOU FAL FEST!

OK thinking out loud, but a FAL range day would be really cool! I do enjoy fondling other FALS!
And always enjoy killing the ZOMBIE paper plates and ZOMBIE Paper BG's!

FALs represent epitome of big bore true combat rifles. Down side is ammo cost these days. 308 present good down range ballistics.
