Who is a good Orthopedic Surgeon in Baton Rouge for shoulders.
I had surgery on both shoulders in the past and re injured one.

He also is, or used to be, the doctor for the LSU baseball team as well. He is THE guy to see for shoulder injuries IMHO.

I'm an adjuster and use ortho's in BR all the time. The best that I know of, and whom I refer to all the time, are:

Joe Morgan (specializes in shoulders)
Stephen Wilson (specializes in shoulders)

If you need any other types or specialities just ask.

1 vote for Dr. Gerald Murtagh. Great Dr.; very easy to talk to.
He's at the Bone and Joint Clinic, same bldg as Dr Wilson and
Dr Morgan.

Thanks to all for the names listed. The shoulder that needs repair was really torn apart and repaired years ago. I injured it again in 2008 and must get it fixed.

Fields, yes. Loup, no.

Loup does not exclusively do shoulders. Generally at any given time I have a few of his patients on my census. The majority do well and his shoulders do fine.
