Look at that. Starting on page three and nothing other then the OPs original post is about the P365.
The original original post left out the growing pains that the P365 had. One of the biggest was the strikers. If I remember correctly they update the strikers twice to correct the problem with them breaking.
I found the original P365 to be uncomfortable in my hand and really didn’t care for how it felt when shooting. I did like the P365XL better.
I’ve got a few friends that love the P365 family of guns. One of them tried very hard to get me to buy one. It was as if He was getting commission from Sig for everyone he talked into buying one. He is a true fanboy of the P365, but other then that, he’s a pretty nice guy.
I agree that the P365 did have a lot to do with changing the market on compact autos. But it’s not always a gun that changes the market. Back in the days of the Wonder 9’s, everybody and there mom we’re making high capacity 9 mm guns. It was almost like a new gun was hitting the market each month. Then the Assault Weapons band was passed and the days of the Wonder 9s was over. But the market took a big shift and the new exciting world of subcompacts started.
We should all be thankful that there are gun manufacturers that are willing to come out with new toys for us to play with.

Yes, The original P320 and P365 had issues which I think have been resolved with running updates of parts. I also prefer the P365XL over the standard P365.
