Palo Alto RIMFIRE PRS August Match

Palo Alto Rimfire Precision will be hosting a PRS style rimfire match on Sunday August 27th. Check in starts at 7:30am, safety meeting at 8:45am, the match starts at 9:00am. Match setup will begin at 6:30am and once the COF is setup there will be a warmup target for sighters until 8:30am.

The match will be 6 stages and 55 shots.

Match fee is $20.00.

Can you describe what is needed for a PRS style rimfire match? Can I show up with my Ruger 10/22 and expect to compete?

The course of fire for this match is attached to the post. A 10/22 can compete in this type of match. Depending on the configuration of you rifle would determine just how capable it is. Search rimfire PRS on youtube and watch some of the videos that come up. That should give you an idea of how these matches go. You are more than welcome to come spectate if you want to see what its all about before showing up to shoot the match. You preferably want to have a bipod and support bag for shooting a PRS match.

Hey man, if you got a scope with clickable/adjustable (not screw set) elevation, we can get you zeroed at 50yrds and you can compete. With little issue we should be able to get you the dope you need thanks to ballistic calculators
You will want a bipod and a rear support bag eventually. But we have enough stuff to get you started if you want to come try it out!
