These 9mm rounds are highly recommended and street proven.
Recommended by a real gunfighter and was shown first-hand what it can do through a windshield and car door. Bonded is the way to go![/QUOTE}
My 9mm defensive ammunition consists of 124gr.+P Gold Dot, 124+P HST, 147gr. Gold Dot G2, 147gr.+P HST. They are all good and I try to keep what I can on hand.
The new FBI load 147gr. Gold Dot G2 has slightly more penetration than the others.
Funny! I have used .45 PDX 1 to good effect on a couple of skunks, but no snakes as yet. On a 4 lb. skunk they will do the job!! (No, I didn't weigh it btw)
As far as 9mm goes. I am using the 124 grain HST (standard pressure) for 9mm carry ammo. It's not bonded, but from what I have heard/read it does well on barriers. Anyone out there have first hand experience with this??
Have tried all but finally settled on HST for 9mm and 45 carry ammo. Only way to go.I picked up some last week for my glock 30. Sunday I was out by our pond and saw a big water moccasin swimming and the only good poisonous snake is s dead one. Shot it twice with these rounds and noticed my ears weren't ringing. A few more shots to confirm and yup, these rounds have way less kick and sound than my FMJ. Just a thought of you looking for good rounds for defense. Also check the YouTube cause the 12 inch max pen is what sold me on them in the first place. Good rounds

What real gunfighter are we talking about?

The kind that did the ugly for Uncle Sam and continues to serve and protect.
So no name?

I feel certain he is referring to a LEO from Houma who is a former Ranger and a local Firearms Instructor. VG on this forum.
Oh. I was curious as to who the secret gunfighter was. Don't know why he wouldn't just say VG.
