I'm alot better at shooting people (wedding photography)
but I took a shot, so to speak ;)

I was feeling like a little flag

What better way than to show "Old Glory" than on this polished Springer GI

looks HDR but without that ridiculous over-processing that everybody does.

good shot. would be a great shot if the lettering on the side of the slide were crisper.

Thanks for your critique young Skywalker

But over saturated, cliche shots sell,
(Just look at Ichiro Nagotos shots with red and blue lights boosting his shots)

That's what the great "unwashed" want......

Plus, this hobby grown to the point of paying for many of my toys

    Works for me :)

werd. i'm starting to think of doing it as a cash on the side hobby. just got a nice laptop so i'm starting to work on learning lightroom and PS more than just the basic features.

recently got a pair of some cheap ebay radio triggers so i'm starting to experiment with off-camera. e-ttl isn't supported but its helping me learn how to judge lighting myself more.

    I bought a Canon 580ex (flash) when it 1st came out ( :eek3: @ 570.00 ) and have a 430exs as a slaves
Canon E-ttl* with slave flashes is da chit
At weddings I can bounce off the ceiling and fill flash at the same time while on the move. When stationary for studio shots you can bounce them into brollies

(* Slaved ETTL is where all the flashes go off an once when the computer in the camera says to)

Heres an unaltered shot without me holding up a flag
(to reflect the mirror polished slide) for all your purists :D

i've just got the one 430ex that i've had a while for my 20d.

probably get an STE2 controller so i don't need to have a flash mounted on the camera and can just use off camera slaves w/o either sync cables or triggers.

photography and shooting. two hobbies that aren't conducive to a college budget. :wtc:
