Police Interceptor

I was looking at a Black 08' Police Interceptor for sale. 90k miles VERY CLEAN inside and out. just a couple of scratches on the rear bumper. Test drove it everything felt fine. MY QUESTION IS! Has anyone on here ever had any major issues or problems with the interceptor/ crown vic/ marquise after 90k miles or at all? Thanks guys and gals.

They are built like tanks. Almost all wear parts are heavy duty, other than typical maintenance I wouldn't expect any issues. The only downside is many of them are driven HARD. If you can find one that wasn't a patrol car you'll be much better off. Also, just in case you didn't know many of them are devoid of luxury/comfort items like remote locks, etc.

I've seen pretty much everything on a crown vic break, but at 90K and a detectives car it should be decent. You know it was well maintained, at least.
