Poplarville 3 gun is cancelled this week. I cant be there, so that leaves only Bill to set up, which is too much for one person.

Hopefully we can get it in May.

Sorry guys, can't make this one. Just got back from TX 3-gun match and I need to do stuff around the house this weekend.

Just so everyone is clear, these IS a 3-gun match this weekend, on May 3, 2015. The original post was for the April match, which got cancelled. However, we have no problem recycling it as long as we are clear that May is a go! The weather should be perfect, the setup crew is available, and would be happy to have additional help Saturday afternoon. If you can help, let us know here first to coordinate the time. If not, then come and shoot on Sunday.

Why shoot only one gun in Pearlington, when you can do three in Poplarville!

We never know the round count, but 75 bird 100 pistol and 150 rifle should cover it

If you are perfect and double tap every paper target, you will need 36 pistol, 101 rifle, 29 birdshot, and 2 slugs. But no one is perfect...

Some Things I Learned Yesterday

1) I need to work on distant rifle shooting
2) I need to get iron sights for the close rifle work
3) I need to get better at loading the shotgun
4) I need to get better at loading the shotgun
5) I need to get better at loading the shotgun

Had a good time, got a nice blister on my hand from the "control your breathing" stage. After 50 rounds that hand guard was getting hot! lol, Hopefully next time my shot gun will actually work.

Same here! Glad I finally made it out there, and I'll be looking forward to 3gun re-starting in the fall.
