From what I've heard he was out close to the road weed eating. His wife and grandson were in the house and heard something and went outside found him.

More to the story in The Advocate today. My driveway is 400 yards from where he was shot. Those are my woods across the pasture in the picture. I drove my lawn mower about 400 yards down the road the day before to cut another cousin's grass that could have happened to me. We have to find this SOB.
