For the love of god please don't invest your hard earned dollars in digital night vision. Unless of course you a fine with technology that is comprable to early gen1, then drive on my friend. Granted, you do get a longer unit lifespan, I haven't found a piece of digital night vision yet that I would sell to a customer.

If I were in that price range, I would look at armasight's Nemesis line. Their gen2+ improved definition can be had for 1500.

He PVS14 is where it's at! Take a look at tactical night visions website. I bought y helmet rig from them as well as the mount. I have had a blast with it. Do not cheap out you will regret it. If you have specific questions let me know. Also there is a bunch of YouTube videos.

If you're looking for a dedicated bc riflescope I would look at the Nemesis line. If you're looking for a converter, well then it depends what weapon system/optics combo you're wanting to use it with.

    More background info is needed.
