Question about BZ

So I have read on this forum a lot about a range you guys call the BZ or buffer zone. I realize it is by Stennis, but is the land a public area to shoot? Also, what about clay pigeons? Thanks.

The legality of shooting out there is questionable, therefore just about everything goes. Use good judgement and be safe and all should be fine.

Its a private hunting clubs lease, out of kindness they allow the public to shoot out there. It is federal land that is leased to the hunting club, the hunting club opens the pit to the public.

not sure, every now & then people who have been going there for years will be at the BZ & mention it but I've forgotten.
