i have a few questions.... is there a archery league around the New Orleans /baton rouge area ( compound, traditional, 3D, and or target it doesn't matter). im just starting out and im making the decision to purchase a bow what is best mid to low end bow on the market? and if anyone recommends a good archery supplier/ pro shop please refer them to me

I know there is a 3D Archery club near New Orleans as well as some traditional archery clubs. As far as what bow is best, there are several manufactures that are good, BowTech, PSE, Matthews and Hoyt to name a few. Your best bet is to go to an archery shop and see what's available in your price range and let them fit you to a bow and test fire a few. You want to shoot one you feel comfortable with. A compound bow is going to be "custom tailored" to fit you so keep that in mind if you buy one second hand.
