SOLD Up fsor sale is my very rare AR-17 12ga Shotgun.
Parts for 2000 gun were made in 1964-65. Only 1,200 were said to have been assembled.
This is a very light firearm, with mostly aluminum construction.
Rotary multi-lug bolt with buffer and buffer spring arrangement that Armalite made famous.
Short recoil operated. 2 shot.
One choke tube, (Lyman type) included. Constriction measures a bit tighter than full choke.

This shotgun has less wear than you would expect from a shotgun that is made in '64-'65.
I did have to fabricate one of the extractor assemblies, as it was missing when I acquired the shotgun.
I have subsequently fired several boxes of shells, and it functions 100%
There are a few scratches, both in the nylon stock, and in the aluminum. Nothing major.
I've tried to fairly represent them in these pictures.
