Here we have a black 1982 epiphone spirit ii with period correct vintage gibson hardcase. The story on these is a bit of a marketing fiasco in the twilight of the norlan era. Branded under the "epiphone usa" name for one year only before moving production from Kalamazoo to Tennessee where they were subsequently sold as gibsons. Very rare and unique find retaining the original tim shaw paf copy pickups in a lovely cream with matching cream surrounds and a very interesting bridge with adjustable brass saddles. This particular guitar has been refretted and also has had a tusq nut added and plays very nicely. It has plenty of dings, scratches, and genuine overall relicing that you would expect from a guitar that has been played and used over the past 36 years. Perfect guitar for gigging with it's reasonably light weight, great neck, and vintage tone without worrying about dinging or scratching. The case also has the type of wear you would expect, heavily used but not abused. I have plenty pics of everything but feel free to ask questions. This is a very unique piece of gibson/epiphone history.
