Reminded me of early 60's on a size-ma-graph boat in the gulf. One boat would pull a cable another boat 1 mile back at the end of the cable dropping dinamite for testing. We always had redfish to take home from the blast. Don't know if they still take soundings that way today .Probably against law .
Those sure were in a frenzy .

I've seen it two times and it's a sight to behold
Beautiful sight with their copper colored scales reflecting/flashing in the sunshine
The last time it was down past the "Jump" off of Redfish pass
We were fishing bass in the canes and a huge school blew through like a stampede
WooHoo, we threw into them and lost tackle ,lost lures, lost line and broke poles but man was it fun while it lasted
