Okay, for some time, the consensus has been that reloading the x39 cartridge "wasn't worth it". Now with the spike in ammo costs and the availability of some 7.62x39 boxer brass it seems more sensible. Another thing is bullet size. .308 vs .311 or .303/7.7 bullets. I would like to see if anyone else reloads for the x39. I have been reloading for this for some time now and have gathered a little data and load recipes. Please post your ideas, thoughts, data etc. I'll gather what data I have used and post as well.

Yea, still cheaper! I only do it for custom loads with 150 gn bullets and for a demo that SKS's can hold MOA.

Okay, I am using IMI brass with H335 for my 145 grain Tracer loads. (I use .308 M25 USGI pulls) I also use .308 Hornady 110 grain Spire points with Acc. 1680 powder. The only .311 0r .310 bullets I use are some 147 grain bullets I pulled from a bunch of 7.62x54r I had. So far, the .308 bullets have functioned very well and I have gotten pretty decent accuracy from the 150 grain loads.
