Remington 700 action silky smooth with heavy target 26” barrel threaded 5/8x24 so any AR10 brake will fit. All floating in an adjustable aluminum chassis that accepts AC mags.
Trigger is fully adjustable and is set at 2 pounds with zero take up.
Scope is a Vortex Diamondback Tactical 6-24x50 first focal plane (reticle swells with zoom) with flip up caps in Vortex pro series 30mm rings, sitting on a 20 MOA ramped rail. All purchased one month ago.
Caldwell bipod
Comes with new Redfield rolling hard case with unplucked foam,
Hogue rubberized camo sporting stock in new condition with internal mag and aluminum floating blocks and 2 new Magpul AC mags (10 and 5 round)
Bought it, scoped it and took it out for one day’s shooting. About 70 rounds. Zero’d at 200 yards and only shot out to 600 but I’m certain 1000 would be no problem for this rifle. Shot very decent groups with 3 different hunting loads, 150-180gr and surprisingly with Federal M80, but shot tight groups with my 168gr Sierra Match open tip handloads and Federal premium loads with the same pill. Just ordered a BadRock in .308 so I’m parting with this one. Will gladly sell without scope, rings and even the case for that matter, as I could use them for the newbie.
This is really a sweet set up and a pleasure to shoot. The gun barely moves when you touch off a round. My buddy’s 10 year old daughter hit a 12” plate every shot at 300 yards with ease. That was fun to watch.
