I have a friend that wants to buy a Remington 7600 for deer hunting. Does anyone have any information on them good or bad? Thanks for any input!

just Remington's refusal to do something about sticky chambers

on a side note I had a 762 in 243win that was awesome until I fell out of a tree with it

I have a 742 in 6mm that will shoot sub MOA at 100 yards with the same crap Bushnell that's been on it for years.

I had a 7400 30-06 carbine that was a hoot and did a number on deer.

Helluva a hunting rifle. Comes from the factory with a freefloated barrel. Had a carbine version and kick myself everday for selling it.
The 7600 PUMP RIFLE doesn't suffer from the "sticky chamber" problems the 74 series autos exhibit when you don't clean them properly.
Somebody was advertising a carbine on here about a week ago for a good price. Wish I had the fun money to buy it.

I have one my parents gave me when I was 14. Its 31yo now and I have taken deer out to 300yds with it.
